It’s Good Now

Many things in our lives look terribly bad when they are happening and yet turn out to be not only better than we expected but the good that we did not at all expect.

            The crucifixion of our Lord was the greatest travesty of all time. Wicked men murdered the Lord of glory, the prince of peace, the king of kings. God sent His Son to save the world and the world hated and crushed Him.

            And yet, the very evil that destroyed our Lord was the means through which His Father and our Father saved the world. Here we are remembering the Lord’s death until He comes again. It seemed really bad then but its good now. Thanks be to God.
