Known By Him

It is vitally important to know who Jesus is. He is the one who died to save us from our sins. He is a substitute for us. He is the exact representation of the will of the Father, whose will we cross when we sin. Thus, we are guilty of attacking His body and shedding His blood. How could such a perfect, holy One die for me who was born in sin and continues in sin? The answer is that the love of the Father compelled Him to do so.

            This love is Jesus’s love to do His Father’s will, and it is also the love of the Father who loved us while we were yet sinners. He provided a way for us to come to Him through the perfect sinless life of His only begotten Son, the faithfulness of the Son to die on the cross on our behalf, and the glorification of the Son who was raised from the dead by God’s Holy Spirit.

            God, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit has chosen of His own good pleasure to place His love on you. Yes, we must know Jesus and walk with Him but it is a much greater glory and blessing to be known by Him and to be welcomed into His presence. This meal is for those blessed redeemed men, women and children who are known by God.
