Eager Gladness

            The Lord has delivered us from sin and death and it is good for us to rejoice and celebrate. God has killed the fatted lamb and bids His prodigal sons and daughters to this illustrious feast.

            You are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ and the Father has placed His signet on you in the Holy sign and seal of baptism. And now, He establishes His love towards you as He bids you to the feast of the wedding supper of the Lamb.

            Men and women as we are, unworthy of ourselves and not fitted to such a grand occasion, are elated to be showered with these benefits; the best food and wine and the joy of the Holy Ghost. Of course, we partake with eager gladness.
